The 2007 International Symposium
for Flexible Electronics and Display (ISFED), organized
by the Industrial Technology Research Institute of Taiwan¡BNational Tsing Hua University and Organic Electronics Association, will take place in
Hsinchu, Taiwan, on December 17 ~ 18, 2007. The purpose
of the Symposium is to bring together scientists and engineers
actively engaged in research, development, and manufacturing
for flexible electronics and displays including organic/inorganic
materials, flexible substrates, manufacturing processes,
circuit designs, flexible devices, system integrations
and product applications, and to discuss current progresses
in this field. |

| While Taiwan's semiconductor and display industries are playing important roles in the global competitions. flexible electronics and display technologies are set for being the next major industrial growth in Taiwan. Today, many resources and investments from government agencies, research institutes and local industries have devoted to the flexible electronics and displays developments. This year¡¦s symposium provides access to a variety of contents including printable materials, device structures, system integrations, manufacturing processes, product applications and business opportunities. To highlight the symposium¡¦s focuses, we¡¦ve invited outstanding researchers and executives of leading organizations from Europe, USA and Japan to share their research and manufacturing experiences. As the flexible electronics industry starts to grow, the ISFED conference is held to explore how this emerging industry has reached its current state, and where it will go from here. |
